Did you know …..

• There are three types of honeybees. The queen, The worker, and The Drone.

• Each Bee has a very specific job within the hive, but the main duty is to protect the queen (can you see where I’m going with this yet?)

• If there is a failure on the part of The Workers or Drones, the result can be detrimental and can result in a collapse of the hives health.

I am in love with this metaphor for the family unit. It really does take a “Hive” of people with specific roles to support a new mother and infant, especially during the 4th trimester. If we don’t surround our mothers with the love and attention they deserve, she will not be able to be her best for her new baby. I am excited to reach people and support moms fiercely.
